The purpose of this section is to inform you as to how we, in the capacity of Controller, comply with the General Data Protection Regulation, better known by the acronym “GDPR”.
More specifically, this section describes how we manage your personal data and ensure their protection within the framework of European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data and their free movement, as well as relevant national laws and regulations.

It includes the following:

3.1 Purposes that are in our legitimate interest

We retain your data as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the objectives pursued and/or according to the legal constraints. Once these objectives are achieved and/or the legal constraints no longer applicable, we delete them by anonymisation.

- the right to access your data, free of charge, within reasonable intervals and in a timely manner, as well as all information on the origin of such data;

- the right to request the erasure of your data without undue delay when the use or other processing of such data is no longer necessary for the purposes described above, and notably when consent relating to a specific processing has been withdrawn or where the processing is not or no longer lawful for other reasons;
- in cases where the accuracy of the data is contested, the processing is unlawful, or where the you have objected to the processing of your data, you may ask for the restriction of the processing of such data. This means that the data will, with the exception of storage, only be processed with or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims of Media Assurances, for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State. In case a processing is restricted, you will be informed before the restriction of processing is lifted; and
- the right to data portability where the processing is based on the execution of a contract or consent, is performed by automated means and where the data has been provided by you.

8. Who has access to your data and to whom are they communicated?
Our employees and subcontractors. They have access to the data only to the extent necessary for the achievement of the objectives pursued above. Each of them is subject to a strict obligation of confidentiality.
9. Do we transmit your data outside the European Union?
Your personal data are hosted in a European Union country, and are not transmitted outside the European Union.
10. What is our policy regarding data concerning minors?

In the event of a dispute between us, we give preference to dialogue and openness for finding an amicable solution. If no amicable agreement is reached, the Luxembourg law is applicable and the French-speaking courts of Luxembourg shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
